There's known issues in Spiceworks 7.2 that create duplicate inventory items when scanning... they're looking to resolve it in 7.3 the last I heard

If you're having issues scanning laptops and they're not always on your network.... you may want to look into installing the spiceworks agent on them.... that way they inventory even when not on your LAN

I'm still not getting full data though. Aside from the duplicate issue, it took six weeks for a computer that is on the network daily to finally be fully scanned for example.
